Can I ask though - how did you get this picked up and into Google news?

Very impressive that this blog is syndicated through Google and is it something that is just up to Google or you actively created?

Obviously this is a popular blog with great data so well done on your seo success..

Gridiron and football greats you should write about next!

What the heck are you putting this on a website about Ireland for? MLS Soccer will never have a fan base like football, because football is American, soccer is for European pussies like Jaques Chirac.

Americans are tough. That's why we like NFL football. Europeans can expect us to stop liking football like they expect us to stop going to war.

If you think the MLS fans are crazy, get yourself over to Europe sometime. Football over there is a religion... nay, it's much more important!

I'm not going that far, Yet! What I am saying is that American Football has lost it's ability to relate to the fans. The players are so out of touch with the fans, that it is truly a shame. I will always enjoy football but it is hard to respect the players any longer. Of course there are some great ones but overall they think they are in it for the money and could care less about the sport or its fans.
